COVID-19 Resources for Deaf/Hard of Hearing Families
Update from Beginnings SC on 08/16/21: We wanted to share an update regarding our operations during COVID-19. Since this spring, we've resumed our in-person services including home visits, trainings, and hearing screenings. With the Delta variant becoming more widespread, we are currently making decisions on a case-by-case basis. We can serve families in-person if everyone is comfortable doing so or virtually. Hearing screenings are continuing as normal with child care centers completing a COVID-19 pre-screening questionnaire. Our staff are fully vaccinated and will wear masks during in-person services. We are here for you. Please give us a call at 803-216-1171 or email info@beginningssc.org if you need assistance, especially with back to school. Stay safe!
These resources are deaf and hard of hearing specific, though some may include information that pertain to non DHH folks.
