There is a great blog out of Georgia that has some terrific posts about language and literacy and deaf/hard of hearing kids. Right now Forever Free is doing multiple posts with groups of vocabulary words that children need to know, like vehicles, toys, animals, etc. There are flashcards and links to Signing Savvy with the ASL vocabulary. Signing Savvy is a subscription service to use all their features but lots of individual signs are available.
