Milk & Cookies Storytime with Signing Santa
December 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Virtual – On Zoom
Get your milk and warm cookies ready for Santa! On Tuesday Dec. 20 starting at 6:30 p.m. we will have our third annual Milk and Cookies Storytime with Signing Santa for deaf and hard of hearing families in South Carolina! This event is intended for children ages birth-10, but all ages are welcome. An ASL interpreter will be present.
We will have two Zoom rooms set up: Our main North Pole waiting area where families can enjoy a variety of holiday stories and chat! We will have stories about many different holidays including Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and more!
Our second Zoom room is Santa’s Place where Signing Santa will meet with each family one-on-one for 3 minutes. Santa can communicate with your child using ASL or voice. If granted permission in the registration form, we will take your family photo with Santa and email you a copy after the event!
If you want to meet with Signing Santa, make sure you select your time slot when you register. More than one family can sign up for the same time slot and will wait until their turn to visit Santa’s Place. Make sure you sign in to Zoom early so you can catch the holiday stories too!
We’re also looking for holiday stories to share during the event! If you have a favorite holiday book you’d like to share, please film a short video of yourself, your child, or the whole family reading it! We’re looking for a variety of stories about all the many holidays around this time of year: Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and more! Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your story submission. Here’s an example of what we’re looking for (thanks so much to Krista-Leigh Olsen for submitting this story about Hanukkah.)
