Topic Tuesday Presentation
Date: November 16 at 7 pm
Topic: Palmetto ABLE Savings Program
Speaker: Karen Crider
Living with a disability often brings extra costs to families. That’s why the Palmetto ABLE Savings Program is an important financial resource that can help you plan for the future of your loved one. Palmetto ABLE® accounts allow individuals with disabilities to save money while maintaining eligibility for important government benefits. During this session, we will discuss the benefits, eligibility, opening and managing an account, and much more.
The Palmetto ABLE Savings Program is administered by the State Treasurer’s Office. Karen Crider is the Program Manager for Palmetto ABLE, and her son Matthew is a Palmetto ABLE savings account owner.
Following the presentation, the speaker will take a Q&A and a parent chat will follow.
An ASL interpreter will be present. This webinar is free, but we ask that you register in advance to receive the Zoom link.
